At The Collective Dance Project, we believe that competitive dance is not just about talent—it’s about heart, dedication, and community.
That’s why we’ve chosen not to hold formal auditions for our company. We welcome all dancers who love dance, who are eager to grow, and who are willing to work hard and support their teammates. If a dancer’s desire is to commit to the process, put in the effort, and contribute to the positive, family-like culture we’ve built, then they deserve the opportunity to be part of our competitive team.
Our company is a place where dancers of all backgrounds and skill levels come together, not because they were selected by a panel, but because they chose to commit to something greater than themselves. We focus on effort over perfection, progress over comparison, and passion over placement.
By removing the audition process, we’re opening the door to dancers who may not yet have the confidence or experience to shine in a traditional audition setting—but who do have the potential to thrive with support, guidance, and community.
While we do not hold auditions for our competitive company—welcoming all dancers who are ready to commit, work hard, and grow—we maintain high standards of training, technique, and performance. Our dancers are well-trained by experienced professionals and consistently recognized with awards at regional and national competitions.
We are proud to offer an inclusive, supportive environment where every dancer has the opportunity to thrive and achieve excellence.
