Erin Lesure

Erin Lesure is an accomplished dance educator, choreographer, and program director with a lifelong passion for the art of dance. She began dancing at the age of two and pursued her training with focus and dedication, attending a performing arts school from fifth grade through graduation, where she earned a dance diploma in 1999.

Erin went on to earn a BFA in Dance Performance from the University at Buffalo in 2003. During her time at UB, she was a member of the prestigious Zodiaque Dance Company and after graduation she performed with the Buffalo Contemporary Dance Company, gaining experience across a wide range of styles and disciplines.

​

A decorated tap dancer, Erin represented the United States on the national tap team at the International Dance Organization World Championships in 1999 and 2000, earning a bronze medal in 1999 and a gold medal in 2000.

​

In 2007, Erin created and launched the dance program at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA), where she served as Director of Dance until 2025. Under her leadership, the program grew to include more than 200 dancers and a competitive team of over 70 members, earning numerous regional and national awards for excellence in performance and choreography.

 

Beyond her professional achievements, Erin is a proud and devoted mother to two daughters who are already proving to be talented dancers in their own right, continuing the legacy of passion, creativity, and excellence in dance.
